Body Shaming Celebrities Are Clapping Back At The Body Shaming Bullies

Recently Rihanna was the latest body shaming target; critics all over the web were claiming Rihanna has gained weight and took to Twitter to poke fun at her added pounds.

But Rihanna didn’t just let it slide she clapped back at her haters in the most classy way on her Instagram posting a pic with this caption.




Rihanna hasn’t been the only victim of body shaming and I sure she won’t be the last. Before Rihanna, Beyonce herself was trending when she posted this pic on her Instagram,




Shortly after the pic leaked, an online site published a story stating that Beyonce was passing off as ”Kylie Jenner lip injections.” as a natural effect of her pregnancy. And her rep Yvette Noel-Schure was not having it, she fired back with a powerful statement to Gossip Cop. Letting Bey’s Critics know she is pregnant and that her body undergoes changes as all pregnant women do and that, unlike her first pregnancy with baby Blu-Ivy, she will not stand for the media bullying this time.

1. Kelly Clarkson


A British TV personality tweeted about Clarkson, “Did She eat all of her backing singers? Kelly who had recently given birth so gracefully handled the comment very well and responded ”Oh, she’s tweeted something nasty about me? That’s because she doesn’t know me I am awesome.




2. Gabourey Sidibe


In response to the body -shaming comments made about her, after her appearance Golden Globe Awards. Sidibe tweeted ”To People making Mean comments about my GG pic, I mos def cried about it on that private jet on my way to my dream job last night. #JK.” Drops Mic.




3. Kim Kardashian-West




Underwent her share of body-shaming from tabloids during her first pregnancy. Kim responded on Twitter, posting a statement and it read ” Get a life! Using my 15lbs skinnier (before I had my baby) comparing to me now. I still have to lose weight. Anyone who has had a baby knows how hard it is to lose weight…your body totally changes! Making fun of me pregnant& making fun of me trying to lose weight now shame on you. I’m not perfect, but I will never conform to skinny standards sorry!

1. Selena Gomez: An Instagram user made an offensive comment about Selena’s weight, Selena responded by posting a swimsuit photo of herself with the caption “I love being happy with me ya’ll. #theresmoretolove.


2. Amy Schumer: Embraces her body and is not afraid to show it. Schumer twitted a mostly nude photo and had this to say ”I am a size 6 and have no plans of changing. This is it. Stay on or get off. Kisses!


3. Halle Berry: Recently attended a red carpet event at the Butterfly Ball in L.A. once her photos were shared the internet was buzzing with comments thinking the actress was pregnant at the age 50!

Later: Halle responded with on Instagram photo with a caption: Can a girl have some steak and fries.
