7 TRIED AND TESTED WAYS ON HOW TO GET RID OF CORNS ON FEET

Do you have corns in your feet? You know, those painful bumps of hardened dead skin cells that you can usually find on the sole and ball of your feet or in between your toes. While these bumps are painless and not that bothersome, their presence on your feet makes it an unsightly sight to behold.

Because of this, many people are trying to find ways on how to get rid of corns. Well, here are some of them:

1.Use pumice stone.

Before rubbing your feet with a pumice stone, soak it in warm water first to soften the corns. Also, only apply light pressure when rubbing the pumice stone against your feet. Stop rubbing every couple of minutes and wash away the dead skin that you have removed.

2.Soak feet in baking soda mixture.

Soak the affected feet in a mixture of hot water and baking soda. Add three tablespoons of baking soda in a bucket of water and soak it in for a few minutes.

3.Sprinkle cornstarch over it.

One of the worst things that could happen to your feet when it has corns is an infection. To prevent that, you need to keep your toes dry at all times. Sprinkling cornstarch over it can help to eliminate moisture, especially in the affected areas.

4.Rub lemon juice on the affected part.

Thanks to the high acidity level that lemon has, it can be able to soften the hardened dead skin cells that are the corns. You can dip fabric or cotton ball in lemon juice then apply it in a circular motion to the affected area in a few minutes. Air dry it afterwards. Do this 2-3 times a day.

5.Treat it with a homemade vinegar mixture.

Just like lemon, vinegar is highly acidic too. In addition to that, it also has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties that can keep infection at bay. Mix 3 parts of water with 1 part of vinegar. Dip a cotton ball in the mixture and apply it on the affected area. Cover it using a bandage. Leave it on overnight. The next morning, use a pumice stone to get rid of the dead skin cells.

6.Soak feet in chamomile tea solution.

Boil chamomile tea solution. Allow it to cool down a bit. Once it has cooled down, soak your feet in it for a few minutes. The chamomile tea is effective not just in removing corns but in getting rid of calluses and bunions too.

7.Apply a slice of pineapple skin on the affected part.

Pineapple contains enzymes that can soften the dead skin cells. Slice a piece of pineapple and use an elastic bandage to secure it on the affected part and let it stay overnight. Do this 3-4 nights a week.

The tips mentioned above are some of the best ways on how to remove corns. So put them into practice and you can get rid of those annoying feet corns in no time!
