RECOMMENDING TO PURCHASE?
Simple Soothing Eye Balm claims that it can hydrate the tired skin around your delicate under eye without causing any irritation or dehydration. Although this may sound like the simple solution to reversing the look of your tired under eyes, there are several issues we’d like to address before you consider purchasing.
The first problem with this eye cream is lack of availability. Simple appears to have discontinued producing this product and it’s only available on third party sites that may not be trustworthy. Another issue with this product is with the formula itself. It’s a bit too simplistic and does not contain any anti-aging benefits or SPF protection. Overall it’s a less than stellar formula, and some customers even claim it doesn’t do a good job of hydrating the skin.
Simple Soothing Eye Balm is still for sale on some third party websites. Although this product has been discontinued by Simple and large drugstore retailers no longer carry it, it is still available online. If you do manage to get your hands on this product, be sure to check with the individual distributor to determine if a return policy is in place.
Because the skin around the eyes is so delicate, it really needs to be treated differently from other facial skin. Eye creams generally use ingredients that are gentle and non-irritating and should help reduce puffiness and any darkness under the eyes which makes us look older than we are. At the same time, antiaging eye creams and serums should also contain ingredients that reduce the appearance of lines, wrinkles and stubborn crow’s feet that appear over time.
