RECOMMENDING TO PURCHASE?
Lancome Progres Eye claims that its highly emollient formula can deeply hydrate the skin and reverse the look of expression lines, wrinkles, and fine lines. Although this may sound like the perfect treatment for your dry under eyes, there are several issues we’d like to address before you consider purchasing this product. This eye cream is a bit pricey for the amount of product you receive.
Only 0.5 fl. oz. of product won’t get you very far if you use this product up to two times per day every day. Additionally, this product contains several irritants in the form of preservatives and fragrance, that may cause more harm than good. In fact, customers claim this product caused their skin to dry out and the fine lines and wrinkles on their skin became more pronounced.
Lastly, the texture of this product appears to be a problem. This formula is quite rich and thick and customers claim that it leaves a heavy, greasy feeling on the skin that never quite dries down.
Lancome Progres Eye is available on Lancome’s own website and several well known skincare retailer websites. These sites have reasonable return policies. If, for any reason, you are unhappy with your product simply return it within 30 days for a full refund.
Because the skin around the eyes is so delicate, it really needs to be treated differently from other facial skin. Eye creams generally use ingredients that are gentle and non-irritating and should help reduce puffiness and any darkness under the eyes which makes us look older than we are. At the same time, antiaging eye creams and serums should also contain ingredients that reduce the appearance of lines, wrinkles and stubborn crow’s feet that appear over time.
